Friday FAVOURITES 03.02.2012

I’ve been busy with exams this week, so I dodn’t have much time to maintain the blog. As for the make-up, I’ve been testing a new foundation this week: Oriflame Studio Artist Foundation. I’ll review it soon, as soon as I get some time to take swatch pictures.

My favourite products were:

Guerlain Meteorites Teint Dore

Guerlain Meteorites Perles d’Or

Oriflame Studio Artist Foundation

Sisley Phyto Kohl Perfect in Ebony

Guerlain Kiss Kiss Baby in Rose Sunset

Chanel Ombres Perlees de Chanel

Friday FAVOURITES 27.01.2012

Gloomy grey sky made me want to bring up some colour in my life. And the best way to do this is are vibrant warm colours of the fall.

The products I loved the most this week are:

Guerlain Blush Cherry Blossom

YSL Poudre de Soleil

Guerlain Ombre 4 Couleurs #406 Tsarina

Guerlain Retractable Eyeliner in Bohemian

Guerlain Kiss Kiss Gloss in Ambre Precieuse

Benefit Lipstick in Lady’s Choice

This colour scheme looks very flattering in combination with blue eyes.

This colour combination reminded me of an interesting home decorating idea: Custom Shower Curtains. Instead of the boring, standard design, it is possible to make your own unique design.

Friday FAVOURITES 20.01.2012

The exams are approaching, so I don’t have much time for make-up – I mostly sleep and/or study.

For this reason, I’ve decided to go with natural make-up.

I have used the most the following items:

cK Loose Powder

Dior Diorblush Strawberry Sorbet

Guerlain Ombre 4 Eclats in Perles des Mers (minus the turquoise shade)

Essence quad in Ciao Bella

Sisley Phyto Ombre in Sorbet

Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Chance

Rouge G in Gaby

Chanel Illusion d’Ombre in Mirifique

Friday FAVOURITES: 13.01.2012

I’ve decided to start a new series: Friday favourites. I hope that I’ll manage to update every week, but sometimes it might even do one or two updates per month. It will feature both make-up, skincare and body care items I might use excessively the previous week.

This week, I’ve gone grey. As I usually wore very natural, neutral make-up during holidays, I couldn’t wait to do something more dramatic. I went with greyish-black smokey eye, pale face and neutral lips.

The products I’ve loved the most are:

Urban Decay Perversion eyeshadow (black)

Urban Decay Gunmetal eyeshadow (sparkly grey)

Guerlain Jeu de Nuit quad (only dark and medium grey)

Sisley Phyto Ombre Eclat in Dune (soft beige grey)

Benefit Lady’s Choice lipstick (nude pinkish beige)

Guerlain Kiss Kiss Ambre Precieuse lipgloss (sparkly brown)

Guerlain Meteorites compact Mythic Parfait

Guerlain Meteorites Perles d’Or.

I have combined grey eyeshadow on the lid, blended with a touch of black in the crease. I’ve used Sisley Dune in the inner corners of the eye. The black eyeshadow (UD Perversion) was used as an eyeliner.

The foundation was my usual Clarins Everlasting, fixed with Guerlain Meteorites Mythic Parfait to give an impression of flawless porcelain skin.

I have used Guelain Perles d’Or to give a touch of blush.

On the lips I’ve put Benefit Lady’s Choice with a drop of Guerlain lipgloss blended in the centre of the lips.

Have a great weekend:)
