CATRICE Nail Lacquer in #460 In the Bronx Review and Swatch

Catrice nailpolish costs cca $4 and the bottle contains 10ml. I never comment on how longwearing the nailpolish is because absolutely every nailpolish (be it a drugstore or a high end) wears off after two days. What I focus on is the shade itself and the consistency of the nailpolish

In The Bronx is a bit difficult to describe – perhaps the most accurate description is bronze gold. This shade will also be a part of Catrice Modern Muse collection, so this gives me hope that all the other nailpolishes in this collection will be full size (10ml), because I hate the texture of the LE nailpolishes (9ml).

The nailpolish is a bronze gold base with slightly bigger particles of shimmer. It is one of the nailpolishes that require sunlight to make it look good. On the direct sunlight, the shade looks like antique gold – the bronze is almost nonexistent. Without sun it is darker with almost no shimmer.

Its consistency is pretty thin and I suggest two coats in order to get full coverage of the nail. If you apply only one coat, it can get streaky.

Overall:
