GUERLAIN Terracotta Bronzing Powder Swatches
May 18, 2011 13 Comments
Guerlain has recently revamped their bronzer collection (basically, they have changed the packaging). The amount of bronzer is still the same (0.35oz) and it retails for $49.
The available shades will suit a wide range of skin-tones. # 00 is perfect for pale skin, but there is also a decent choice of darker colours.
The texture of the bronzer is extremely soft and silky. The bronzer is very pigmented – the swatches were made with only one swipe of finger. However, this means that, if you have lighter skin and prefer natural look, it might take some time to figure out how to pick the good amount of product on the brush.
Still, Guerlain has again proved that, when it comes to bronzers, their bronzers are the best.

I can definitely see your point of view

Even I don’t like when people over(ab)use bronzer and look orange as oompa loompas
Just wait until I write a review of the new Guerlain Terracotta foundation. This one is among the worst bronzers ever. Even I hate it.
I think you are right about the shade… but I still don’t like it – whether it’s sun, fake sun or bronzers people look yellow
I like bronzers during summer. If the shade is well picked, the bronzer gives sunkissed look and looks very natural.
Bronzers just gross me out – what can I say? I don’t like them, I don’t understand why people even use them (can’t they just tan, or use fake tan?). They look so unnatural and give that “hey I’m wearing make-up” look that I sooooo dislike
