GUERLAIN Terracotta Light Sheer Bronzing Powder in 01 Blonde Halee Review

Terracotta Light Sheer Bronzing Powder in Blonde Halee was a limited edition from Summer 2010 Terracotta Collection. It is a more shimmery version of a regular Terracotta compact in Blondes. The bronzer comes in a brown compact with a mirror, but without a brush. The compact is not as sturdy as I would like it and my compact doesn’t open easily.
Colour wise it looks just like the regular Terracota bronzer – a mosaic of brown, golden, bronze and pink tones but with a lot of shimmer.
Even though my first bronzer ever was YSL (and I’ve only picked that up because Guerlain was out of stock), Guerlain is the brand you should look for if you want a perfect bronzer (especially if you are very pale).
The colour of this bronzer is perfect for pale girls. The colour is ideal – it won’t look too pink and it will not turn out to be too reddish. I think that this bronzer lives-up to the slogan of their new Terracotta Summer 2011 collection which is Terracotta ou Soleil (Terracotta or Sun). This bronzer gives a sunkissed look to the skin.
I have mentioned that this version of the bronzer is shimmery, but the shimmer isn’t obvious on the face. It is there just to give glow to the skin.
The bronzer is pigmented, but it is very easy to layer it or to blend it, so it will never look fake.
Terracotta is the perfect way to achieve sun-kissed skin without exposing it to the sun.
